The proximity to the central area of Oaxaca made exploring really convenient. The hotel had lovely decor and a charming ambiance. Checking in was smooth, but be ready with cash, as they don't accept cards. My room was immaculate with good WiFi and clean amenities. Daily room cleaning was a nice touch. I faced an inconvenience with the cash issue. My bank temporarily blocked my card, and it took time to resolve. Note that the hotel staff were understanding and helped me during the process. The only downside was that breakfast wasn't available on Sundays, but there are plenty of nearby options to grab a bite. It reminded me of a good hideaway with vibrant surroundings, especially the courtyard filled with flowers.

it was a such great stay, beautifully decorated and stunningly beautiful place. every detail of the hotel was perfect, all the staff were helpful and attentive. the location was favourable, within walking distance of zocalo plaza. the airport was 0.5 miles away. the service was great and the food was appetising. had the option to leave my car nearby.

Multiple issues surfaced, like the poorly maintained floor grout and peeling paint on the walls. The shower curtain being cloth resulted in a slippery bathroom floor after every shower. The hotel lacked easy access to drinking water, forcing us to purchase it from the restaurant during limited hours-a pain when dehydration hits hard. We missed having a safe in the room.

Dude, the street food scene is fire! We hit up Taqueria Don Juanito just a hop away-seriously, grab those tacos! Plus, the hotel's staff were accommodating, helping us snag a taxi to the airport amidst a strike. The decor is a vibrant feast for the eyes, too.

Only bummer was no breakfast on Sunday, but with spots like Comedor Tipico La Abuelita a quick stroll away, no worries! Don't forget, they're cash-only. Make sure to alert your bank before you land to avoid any funny business with your card.
